The Whaley Way

Behavior is tracked at Whaley in a unique way. The Whaley Way! We ensure that student data is a top priority and taken at a minimum every 15 minutes. We allow data to drive the decisions that allow us to best support students on a day to day basis. We use our specifically designed Whaley Trackers to remain objective when determining services needed to support our student's academic journey. 
Our Whaley Trackers allow case managers to ensure accuracy when Behavior Interventions are utilized to process students in the Reset Room. They are also utilized to report positive replacement behaviors as students access their coping strategies. Behavior interventions help case managers summarize student behavior data. For example, case managers utilizing data for assessing quarterly progress or for data review meetings (see data review meeting agenda). It is also used by BCBAs and school psychologists to identify patterns of behavior using the antecedent, behavior, and consequences on the intervention form to create a Functional Behavior Assessment.
